Pre-Construction Services
Pre-construction is where successful projects are made. Planning drawings are a great starting point, but they rarely include the detail needed for an accurate build cost. That’s why we don’t price from planning drawings alone. Instead, we help you develop the information required to define the scope properly—so you can make decisions with confidence and avoid surprises later. A free budget figure can be useful early on, but it’s still an estimate. With our pre-construction support, we can produce a clear, itemised cost plan and breakdown, including a measured pricing schedule/BoQ prepared in line with NRM2 principles, giving you a much firmer basis for budget, procurement and programme.

This is part of our budgeting and estimating services and assigns allowances for the design elements that are still being developed. As the scope is refined, the control estimate has room to expand upon the original line-item budget. This approach allows us to offer more accurate estimates, so clients can see exactly where they stand regarding project costs.
